ملخص البحث
  يعد الإمام محمد الخضر حسين من أبرز علماء الأزهر الشريف، وهو عالم إسلامي، ومصلح اجتماعي، وأديب لغوي، وشاعر متمكن، ومجدد محافظ، اشتهر بالدفاع عن الدين الإسلامي، وحبه للعربية، وتصديه لمبغضيها، خلف وراءه الكثير من المؤلفات في العلوم الدينية والعربية، واخترت موضوع بحثي: (الجهود البلاغية للإمام محمد الخضر حسين وأثرها في البلاغة العربية) 
  ويهدف البحث إلى تسليط الضوء على الجهود البلاغية لفضيلة الإمام محمد الخضر حسين من خلال مقالاته ومؤلفاته العديدة، ومنهج الدراسة هو المنهج الاستقرائي الوصفي الذي يقوم على تتبع هذه الجهود، وكيفية عرض الإمام لها، وموقفه منه، وإبراز أثرها في البلاغة العربية، واجتهدت في جمعها وترتيبها على نحو مترابط، يعطي تصورا للرؤية البلاغية للإمام، واقتضت طبيعة البحث أن يكون في مقدمة، وتمهيد، وثلاثة مباحث، التمهيد : نبذة عن الإمام ومسيرته العلمية، الاهتمام باللغة العربية، الاهتمام بالبلاغة العربية ، الذوق البلاغي، المبحث الأول: بلاغة القرآن، المبحث الثاني: البلاغة النبوية، المبحث الثالث: الفنون البلاغية: الخيال ، التشبيه، المجاز والنقل، ثم خاتمة البحث متضمنة نتائجه: ومن أهمها أن جهود الإمام تركزت نحو الاهتمام باللغة العربية وعلومها؛ لفضلها بكونها لغة القرآن، ومعجزة الرسالة والارتقاء البلاغي واتساع أوجه البيان من أسباب فضل اللغة العربية، وقد بلغ هذا الارتقاء البلاغي أوجه حين نزول القرآن الكريم؛ ليكون دليلا على صدق نبوة الرسول الكريم، ومبرزا لإعجازه البلاغي ، ومن هنا يشدد الإمام على أهمية دراسة البلاغة ومعرفة أبوابها، فهي من سبل الهداية والإيمان، ومظهر من مظاهر الاقتداء بالنبي الكريم، وطريق لإبراز الحق ودحض الباطل، ووسيلة للإصلاح ، ثم توصيات البحث.

Abstract:
Imam Muhammad Al- Khidr Hussain is one of the most prominent scholars of Al- Azhar Al- Sharif. He is a Muslim scholar, a social reformer, a man of letters, a linguist, a skilled poet, a conservative innovator who is known for defending the Islamic religion, his love for Arabic, and his opposition to its haters. He left behind many books on religious and Arabic sciences. This research paper highlights the rhetorical efforts of his Eminence the Grand Imam of Al- Azhar Al- Sharif Muhammad Al- Khidr Hussain through his articles and his numerous writings. The paper applies the inductive and descriptive approaches which rely on tracing those efforts, the way the Imam has introduced them, his attitude towards them and clarifying their impact on Arabic rhetoric. The researcher has done her best to collect and organize such material interconnectedly giving an idea about the rhetorical vision of the Imam. Due to its nature, this research paper includes an introduction, a preamble and three research investigations. The preamble displays a synopsis about the Imam, his academic career, his interest in Arabic language, Arabic rhetoric and the rhetorical taste. The first investigation handles the rhetoric of the Holy Qur’an whereas the second discusses the prophetic rhetoric. The third investigation highlights the rhetorical arts: fancy, simile, metaphor and transference. The research paper has concluded with the most important findings. For example, the Imam's efforts focused on Arabic language and its sciences, due to its virtue as the language of the Qur'an, the miracle of the message, in addition to the rhetorical advancement and the profound expression which embody the reasons beyond the virtue of the Arabic language. This rhetorical advancement reached its peak when the Holy Qur'an was revealed, to be evidence of the truth of the prophethood of the noble messenger, and to highlight its rhetorical miracle. Hence, the Imam stresses the importance of studying rhetoric and knowing its branches, as it is one of the paths to guidance and faith, as an aspect of following the example of the noble Prophet, a way to highlight the truth, refute falsehood, and a means of reform.
