الملخـص:
يأتي هذا البحث ليبين منهج شيخ الأزهر محمد سيد طنطاوي في مبهمات القرآن في تفسيره "التفسير الوسيط"، وقد قام البحث على منهجين، هما: التحليلي والمقارن، وأثبت أن شيخ الأزهر الأستاذ الدكتور/ محمد سيد طنطاوي يعد من المفسرين المحققين المدققين في علم مبهمات القرآن – موضوع البحث -؛ إذ كان منهجه فيه صحيحا إلى حد كبير، ومبنيا على منهج وسطي كما سمى تفسيره.
ومن أهم نتائج البحث: أنه – ‌ - كان مهتما ببيان المبهمات التي ورد في شأنها بيان في القرآن الكريم، أو السنة النبوية، أو أقوال الصحابة، أو التابعين، كما كان ملتزما بعدم الخوض في المبهمات التي تندرج تحت ما استأثر الله تعالى بعلمه، إلا في النذر القليل جدا. كما كان ملتزما إلى حد كبير بعدم الخوض في بيان المبهمات المسكوت عنها في شرعنا، والتي لا يضر جهلها ولا ينفع علمها.
وأن المآخذ على منهجه – ‌ - في بيان المبهمات في تفسيره قليلة جدا، وهو مقلد فيها لكثير من المفسرين؛ وتتمثل في خوضه في مواضع قليلة جدا في المبهمات التي تتصل بالغيبيات، وكذا إغفاله بيان بعض المبهمات التي ورد في بيانها نصوص صحيحة، وخوضه في بيان بعض المبهمات المسكوت عنها في شرعنا.

Abstract
This research comes to show the approach of the Sheikh of Al-Azhar، Muhammad Sayyed Tantawi، to the ambiguities of the Qur’an in his interpretation of “Intermediate Interpretation.” The research was based on two approaches: analytical and comparative، and it proved that the Sheikh of Al-Azhar، Professor Dr. Muhammad Sayyed Tantawi، is considered one of the scrutinizing and investigating commentators in the science of the ambiguities of the Qur’an. -Research topic -; His approach to it was largely correct، and based on a moderate approach، as he called his interpretation.
 One of the most important results of the research is that he - may God have mercy on him - was interested in clarifying the ambiguous matters that were explained in the Holy Qur’an، the Sunnah of the Prophet، or the sayings of the Companions or the Followers. He was also committed not to delve into the ambiguous matters that fall under what God Almighty has reserved for His knowledge. Except in very small vows. He was also committed to a great extent not to delve into explaining the ambiguous matters that are silent about in our law، the ignorance of which does no harm and the knowledge of which does no benefit.
The objections to his approach - may God have mercy on him - in clarifying the ambiguous matters in his interpretation are very few، and he imitates many commentators in them. It is represented by his going into very few places into the ambiguous matters related to the unseen، as well as his neglecting to explain some of the ambiguous matters whose explanation has been mentioned in authentic texts، and his delving into explaining some of the ambiguous matters that are silent about in our law.
