الملخـص:
يناقش هذا البحث مسألة ترجمة القرآن الكريم، والتي استجدت، وشاعت في ثلاثينيات القرن العشرين، فكانت مثار اهتمام وجدل واسع بين أوساط علماء الأزهر الشريف، والباحثين المهتمين بترجمة القرآن الكريم؛ وذلك لانتشار ترجمات عديدة ملئت بالأباطيل، والترهات من قبل أعداء الإسلام؛ قاصدين تشويهه وصدَّ النَّاس عنه؛ فبات ضروريًّا دراسة هذه القضية، وحقيقة اختلاف العلماء فيها. ويهدف البحث إلى إبراز موقف الإمام الأكبر فضيلة الشيخ/ محمد مصطفى المراغي -‌- (شيخ الأزهر الأسبق)؛ حيث كان أحد العلماء الذين قاموا بدراسة مسألة ترجمة القرآن الكريم، وبحثها بحثًا مستفيضًا، مستشعرًا مخاطر ما يحاك من قبل الحاقدين على الإسلام وأهله، كما يهدف البحث إلى بيان وجه الحاجة إلى الترجمة.
وقد اتبعت في دراسته المنهج الاستقرائي، والوصفي، والاستنباطي.
وكان من أبرز نتائج البحث: أن ترجمة التعاليم الإسلامية، ومنها: معاني القرآن الكريم وتفسيره إلى اللغات الأجنبية، واجب دعوي لابد منه؛ لنشر تعاليم الإسلام باللغات المختلفة، وفق الشروط التي وضعها العلماء، وأن الإمام الأكبرَ الشيخ المراغيَّ -‌- كان رائدًا فكريًا، وعالمًا دعويًا إصلاحيًا، عميق الفهم والاستنباط، حريصًا على نشر تعاليمِ الإسلام للأمم كافة، بما يتفق وقواعدَ الشريعة، وأصولَها الكلية، ولا ينافي كلام الفقهاء.

This research discusses the issue of translating the Holy Qur’an, which emerged and became popular in the1930 s. It was the subject of widespread interest and controversy among Al-Azhar scholars and researchers interested in translating the Holy Qur’an. This is due to the spread of many translations filled with falsehoods and nonsense by the enemies of Islam. Intending to distort him and keep people away from him. It has become necessary to study this issue
In fact, scholars differ about it.
The research aims to highlight the position of the Grand Imam, His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Mustafa Al-Maraghi - may God have mercy on him - former Sheikh of Al-Azhar. He was one of the scholars who studied the issue of translating the Holy Qur’an, and extensively researched it, sensing the dangers of what is being hatched by those who hate Islam.
And its people. The research also aims to explain the badly need of translation.
In his study, he followed the inductive, descriptive, and deductive approaches.
One of the most prominent results of the research was that translating Islamic teachings, including the meanings of the Holy Qur’an and its interpretation into foreign languages, is an indispensable religious duty. To spread the teachings of Islam in different languages, according to the conditions set by scholars, and that the Grand Imam Sheikh Al-Maraghi - may God have mercy on him - was an intellectual pioneer and reformist advocacy scholar, with deep understanding and deduction, keen to spread the teachings of Islam to all nations, in accordance with the rules of Sharia and its universal principles, and not in contradiction with The words of jurists.
