عرضت في هذا البحث لحقيقة لفظ صحابي وما يراد به، ومن ثم تطرقت لأهمية فقه الصحابة، ومنزلته، ثم استعرضت أهم المصادر التي ينبغي أن يرجع إليها الباحث فيما يتعلق بفقه الصحابة، على مختلف أقسامها سواء العامة أو الخاصة أو المساعدة، لکي يتمکن من معرفة رأي الصحابي الفقهي في المسألة موضوع البحث بعد أن يحرره ويتأکد من ثبوته.

Abstract
 
This research investigates the truth and significance of the term “a companion of Prophet Muhammad ‘Peace be upon him’). After that the research highlights the importance of the jurisprudence of the companions and its value. Next, the research displays the most important references which a researcher should consult whenever he handles an issue related to the jurisprudence of the companions and the various subdivisions whether they are general, specific or supplementary. The references would certainly enable the researcher to trace the jurisprudential views of the companions concerning his issue of research.
