اتهم المستشرقون وأتباعهم علماء الجرح والتعديل بأنهم يتبعون الهوى وبواعث النفس في الحکم على الرواة، وفي السکوت عن الباطل وعدم تبيينه للناس، وکل ذلک دون دليل أو برهان، فکان هذا البحث لبيان أن هذه الشبهة غير صحيحة، وذلک من خلال بيان المنهج الأخلاقي وأبرز السمات التي کان يتمتع بها علماء الجرح والتعديل، مما له الأثر الکبير في أخلاقهم وورعهم وتقواهم، وبيان ذلک من خلال الأمثلة العملية والتطبيقات المأثورة عن هؤلاء الأئمة في تناولهم الکلام حول رواة الأحاديث، ليتضح بجلاء أنهم يتبعون الحق والعدل في أحکامهم. ويعد هذا البحث توطئة للقارئ والباحث في علم الجرح والتعديل، فيمزج في أثناء قراءته وبحثه بين مقامي العلم والعمل. ويقع هذا البحث في مقدمة وتمهيد وأربعة مباحث: فالمبحث الأول: الإنصاف والموضوعية، والمبحث الثاني: الصدق في اتباع الحق. والمبحث الثالث: التحري والتثبت. والمبحث الرابع: الشجاعة في قول الحق. ثم الخاتمة وقائمة المراجع والفهارس.


Attributes of the moral approach of discrediting and accrediting scholars

Abstract
The orientalists and their followers argued that the accrediting and discrediting scholars were following their desires and their mind motives in judging of the Narrators and that they were silent about the Falsehood without clarifying it to people. Because of all of these arguments were not grounded, this research was done to prove that this argument is incorrect, to demonstrate the moral approach of the scholars of discrediting and accrediting  and their main characteristics , which had a positive impact on their morals, righteousness and devotion and to make it clear that these scholars followed right and justice in their judgements on the narrators, through reviewing practical examples on these scholars.
This research is considered to be an introduction to the reader and researcher of discrediting and accrediting science so that they can combine the contexts of science and work during reading of this research.
This research consists of an introduction and four topics: the first topic is” equitability and objectivism”, the second topic is “faithfulness in following the truth”, the third topic is “investigation and ascertainment”, and the fourth topic is “The courage in telling the truth” and then the conclusion, references and the index.
