Abstract
- Research topic: clarifying the rules governing complete utterance as mentioned in traditional grammar books, then applying them to some grammatical issues. Scholars’ opinions on and arguments about that relationship are also presented, singling out the preferable opinion.
- Research objective: indicating the gained outcome of conditioning the grammatical rules governing on complete utterances.

Introduction: the significance of the topic and the reasons behind choosing it.
Preface: illustrating the relationship between sentence and utterance.
