الملخــــص:
يتناول هذا البحث دراسة سورة عبس دراسة موضوعية، حيث يسلط الضوء على التعريف بالسورة وموضوعاتها تعريفاً شمولياً، وتفسير آياتها تفسيراً موضوعياً مع إبراز ما فيها من معاني ودلالات. ويهدف البحث إلى الخروج بفهم سليم ومتكامل لآيات السورة، وربطها بالواقع الذي تحياه الأمة، وبيان منزلة القرآن الكريم وجلالة قدره، وبيان أحوال الناس يوم القيامة وأقسامهم.
 واستخدم الباحث المنهج التحليلي في تفسير الآيات القرآنية، والمنهج الاستدلالي في عرض الأمثلة والشواهد.
 وخلصت نتائج البحث إلى: أن لسورة عبس عدة أسماء كلها اجتهادية ما عدا اسم (عبس) فإنه توقيفي، وأنه لم يرد في فضل السورة حديث صحيح صريح، وأن لفظة "عبس" وما يشتق منها وردت في ثلاث سور مكية وكلها دعوية، وأن على (الداعي) ألا يفرق في دعوته بين غني وفقير، وأن يكون صاحب خلق كريم في أقواله وأفعاله، وأن يقتدي بالملائكة الكرام في طاعته لربه –عز وجل-وأن الإماتة والإقبار من النعم التي امتن الله –عز وجل-بها على ذلك الإنسان، وأن خاتمة السورة جاءت مناسبة للسورة، حيث قرر مطلعها حقيقة الميزان وخاتمتها نتيجته.

Surat Abasa
 An Objective Study

Abstract
 
 This research examines Surat Abasa throughout an objective study as it highlights and identifies Surat Abasa and the topics it handles in a comprehensive way. It also interprets the verses objectively emphasizing the meanings and significances contained. Hence, the research aims at achieving a true and comprehensive understanding of the verses by relating them to the real life of the nation. In addition, the research is keen on stressing the great and sacred status of the Holy Qur’an as well as the circumstances of people on the day of judgement and their classifications. The researcher has utilized the analytical approach to interpret the Qur'anic verses and the evidentiary approach to examine evidence and introduce examples. The research concludes with the most outstanding findings. For example, Surat Abasa has many discretional names except for the name (Abasa) which is known to be confined to this Sura. There has not been a single narrated Hadith talking about the merits of this Sura. The word (Abasa) and its derivatives have been stated in three Meccan Suras and all of them are related to the field of mission. The preacher should not differentiate in between a rich and a poor man. He should also be of a good conduct both in his deeds and sayings. Moreover, he should also follow angels as a good example in their obedience to Almighty Allah. Life and death constitute a kind of bliss prescribed by Allah for all mankind. Finally, the end of the Sura is compatible with its content as its beginning identifies the truth of the measure and its end refers to the results.
