الملخـــص:
أولى الإسلام اليوم الآخر وما فيه من أحداث أهمية كبرى؛ وجعل الإيمان به شرطا لصحة إسلام المرء، وقصد من ذلك حمل الناس على العمل لهذا اليوم وإعداد العدة له، وسماه بأسماء متعددة للدلالة على شرفه وعظم مكانته في الإسلام، وقد اهتم العلماء قديما وحديثا ببيان أسمائه ووقائعه، ومعرفة أحواله وأهواله، لما في ذلك من أهمية كبيرة في حياة المسلم، وحملِه على العمل الصالح والمسارعة في الخيرات، والصبر على ما أصابه في جنب الله. وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الوقوف على الآيات التي ورد فيها ذكر اليوم الآخر، والوقوف على بعض أسمائه وأدلتها ومعانيها، والوقوف على بعض أحواله وأهواله. وقد اعتمدتْ على المنهج الاستقرائي الاستنباطي الوصفي من خلال جمع الآيات وتصنيفها إلى موضوعات، ومن ثم التعليل للوصول إلى النتائج المطلوبة. وتوصلتْ الدراسة إلى نتائج منها: كفر منكر حقيقة اليوم الآخر، وأن تعدد أسمائه جاء لحكم متعددة.

The Last Day in the Holy Qur’an

 Abstract
 Islam has given due importance to the last day and the events it includes. Islam has also considered believing in the last day a requirement for the validity of one’s belief in Islam. The main objective beyond this requirement is to urge people to work and be prepared for that day. It has many other names rather than the last day to emphasize its honour and great status in Islam. Scholars in ancient and modern times have been interested in clarifying the names, incidents, conditions and scourges of the last day for the great importance it signifies for the Muslim’s life and turning him to do good and virtuous work, be patient for what has befallen him on the side of Allah. The research aims at studying the verses where the last day is stated clarifying some of its names and their meaning as well as their conditions and scourges. The research has followed the inductive, deductive and analytical approaches through collecting the verses and classifying them into the main topics then finding clues about the targeted findings. Finally, the research has reached some findings for example, those who denounce the truth of the last day are considered infidel and nonbelievers, and as for the numerous names, each one has its meaningful wisdom.
