يحاول هذا البحث إبراز دور المملکة العربية السعودية في الحماية من مخاطر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي الفکرية بين الواقع المعايش والمأمول المرتقب، وذلک من خلال الإجابة على الأسئلة الآتية:
- ما هي وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي؟ وماهي أهدافها؟
- ما الأمن الفکري؟ وکيف يتحقق داخل المجتمع؟
- ما مدى تأثير وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي على الأمن الفکري؟
- ما دور المملکة العربية السعودية في الحماية من مخاطر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي الفکرية؟

Abstract
  This research paper is an attempt to point out the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in providing protection against the intellectual threats of the social media between our present time and the future we are looking forward to. This has been achieved by answering the following questions:
-         What are the means of social media and what are their objectives?
-         What is intellectual security? And how can it be established within the society?
-         To what extent do the social media affect intellectual security?
-         What is the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in providing protection against the intellectual threats of the social media?
