فهم السلف للقرآن الکريم في ضوء مستجدات العصر

هَدَفَ هذا البحث الموسوم بـ (فهم السلف للقرآن في ضوء مستجدات العصر) إلى الکشف عن صلاحية منهج السلف في فهم التعبير القرآني، وأهميته واستمرار مکانته في ظل التقدم العلمي والإنجازات التقنية، وإلى التأکيد على أن مشروعات التفسير عبر التاريخ الإسلامي بجميع أنواعها لا يمکنها أن تنقص من مکانة فهم السلف للقرآن الکريم حتى وإن تم تجاوزه في بعض الجوانب، فالقرآن نزل بلغتهم، وهم أرباب هذا الميدان وأساطينه، کما أنهم عاينوا التنزيل وأخذوا عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، أو عمن أخذ عنه.
بيد أن مکانة سلفنا الصالح لا تعني ضرورة إضفاء صفة القداسة لفهومهم وأقوالهم، فهناک فرق کبير بين منزلتهم، وبين إيجاب فهمهم رضي الله عنهم أجمعين، لذا ستمثل الدراسة للعديد من التطبيقات الدالة على أن الاختلاف بينهم، أو حتى قصور فهمهم عن مکتشفات اقتضتها مراحل النضج البشري لا ينقص من قدرهم ومقامهم، ولا يطعن في قيمة آرائهم في سياق فهم القرآن الکريم، فکم ترک السابق للاحق.
واختتمت الدراسة بعدد من النتائج والتوصيات المهمة، والله الموفق.

OUR ANCESTORS’ UNDERSTANDING OF THE QUR᾿ĀN SEEN IN THE LIGHT OF OUR AGE’S RECENT DEVELOPMENTS

Abstract
This research paper aims at revealing the validity of our ancestors’ methodology for understanding the Qur᾿ānic expressions, its importance, and the continuity of its status in the age of scientific advancement and technical achievements. The paper emphasizes the fact that no type of Qur᾿ānic interpretation projects along the history of Islam can underestimate the status of our ancestors’ understanding of the Qur᾿ān, even though this understanding had been outweighed in some aspects. The Qur᾿ān was revealed in their language, which they well mastered, and in which they were versed. In addition, they were close to the time of revelation, so they learned from the Prophet, peace be upon him, or from those who were instructed by him. However, this status of our pious ancestors does not necessarily mean that we consider their sayings and understanding to be infallible. In fact, there is a big difference between respecting their own status, may Allah be pleased with them all, and insisting on their way of understanding. Therefore, this study introduces many examples where they disagreed among themselves, or where their understanding fell short due to discoveries that were later made by human advancement. Yet, this does not belittle their personal status, nor does it underestimate the value of their views in the context of interpreting the Qur᾿ān. Indeed the ancestors have left much to their descendants to say.
The paper is concludes with a number of significant results and recommendations.
