لا يقل اهتمام المرأة بالتراث عن الرجال، وقد انشغلت الدکتورة عائشة عبد الرحمن بالتراث، فکان هذا البحث عن جهودها التراثية، وقد تناولت الباحثة فيه: مفهوم التراث،والمتعاملون مع التراث الإسلامي، والمبحث الأول: دور المرأة في الحفاظ على التراث الإسلامي, من ناحية: دور الأمهات في تربية العلماء، ودور المرأة في تحقيق التراث، وقد ترجمت ترجمة مختصرة للدکتورة عائشة عبد الرحمن, وتحدثت عن نشأتها, ودراستها, ومناصبها وتحقيقها للتراث.

The Role of Women in Preserving the Islamic Heritage

Abstract
      Women are not less than men in their keen interest in the heritage. Doctor Aisha Abdel- Rahman occupied herself with the Islamic heritage and this research is designed to highlight her efforts in this field. The researcher has handled the concept of heritage and those who work with the Islamic heritage. The first chapter is dedicated to reviewing the role of women in preserving the Islamic heritage from one perspective and the role of mothers in bringing up scientists and scholars, from another perspective. It also displays the role of women in authenticating the heritage. Finally, the researcher introduces a brief biography of Doctor Aisha Abdel- Rahman in which the researcher talks about her early upbringing, her studies, her positions and her authentication of the heritage.
