يهدف هذا البحث إلى إبراز عناية الإسلام واحتفائه بمرحلة الشباب، حيث جاءت الآيات القرآنية والتوجيهات النبوية التي تلفت الأنظار إلي أهمية مرحلة الشباب إرشادًا وتعليمًا، ومن هذه التوجيهات: التوجيه النبوي لشاب من شباب المسلمين وهو عبد الله بن عباس رضي الله عنهما، حينما قال له صلى الله عليه وسلم : " يَا غُلَامُ إِنِّي أُعَلِّمُکَ کَلِمَاتٍ احْفَظْ اللَّهَ يَحْفَظْکَ" حيث تناول هذا الحديث الشريف جوانب الأخلاق، والعبادات، والمعاملات، والعقيدة والوسائل الموصلة إلي رضا الله عز وجل للناس عامة والشباب خاصة، من خلال هذا التوجيه النبوي لشاب من شباب المسلمين ، وسنقف مع الجملة الأولى فقط (احفظ الله يحفظک) لبيان أن المراقبة هي السبيل إلي حفظ الله العبد من کل ما هو ضّار، وقد اتبعت المنهج الاستقرائي من خلال أقوال تتبع العلماء في معني ( احفظ الله يحفظک) وأثر ذلک في استقامة العبد.

Abstract
This resarch draws attention to the the phase of youth as largely celebrated by Islam. A large number of Qur’anic verses and prophtic traditions emphasize the importance of such phase throughout guidance and instruction. This instruction includes the prophetic recommendation directed to one of the Muslim youth, namely Abdullah Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with both of them) when prophet Muhammad (Peac be upon him) said “Young man, I shall teach you some words [of advice] : Be mindful of Allah, and Allah will protect you.” This Hadith demonstrates some moral aspects, acts of worship, transactions, matters of faith and the ways leading to the attainment of Allah’s pleasure with all people in general and youth in particular. Hence, this resarch studies this prophetic recommendation directed to one of the Muslim youth and it focuses on the first sentence only “Be mindful of Allah and Allah will protect you” to emphasize the fact that observation is the only way to safeguard the commandments of Allah and as a result, Allah will protect the worshipper from all that can be harmful. The researcher has followed the inductive approach through tracing the statements of the scholars related to the Hadith of “Be mindful of Allah” and the impact of this Hadith upon the moral integrity of the worshipper.
