مفـردةُ (أُمٍّ) في القرآن الکريم بين الحقيقة والمجــاز

ملخص البحث:
   هذا البحث في التفسير وعلوم القرآن؛ إذ إنه يدرس مواضع مفردة (أُمٍّ) في القرآن الکريم بين الحقيقة والمجاز، ولم تحظ هذه المفردة بدراسة منفردة. 
   ويهدف البحث إلى تعريف القارئ على معاني مفردة (أُمٍّ) في آيات القرآن، وعلى المعاني المجازية القرآنية لهذه المفردة، وأن يلمس القارئ بنفسه اتساع لغة القرآن وثراءها.
   وقد اعتمد البحث على المنهج الاستقرائي في تتبع مواضع (أُمّ) في القرآن الکريم، وعلى المنهج التحليلي في دراسة دلالات هذه المفردة، وبيان ما هو حقيقي منها: کأم موسى u، و(مريم) أم عيسى u، وامرأة عمران (أم مريم u)، وأمهات المؤمنين رضي الله عنهن، وأم الجنين أو المرضع، وأم الزوجة، وأم المتوفَّى، وأم الفارِّ يوم القيامة. وکذلک بيان ما هو مجازي کأم القرى (مکة المکرمة)، وأم الکتاب (الآيات المحکمات أو اللوح المحفوظ)، والأم بمعنى المأوى.
   ومن أهم نتائج البحث: ورود مفردة (أُمٍّ) في القرآن على اثني عشر معنىً حسب السياق في حدود ثلاثة وثلاثين موضعا، وأن استعمال هذه المفردة وإضافتها إلى کلمات لا حصر لها يولد مسمّيات کثيرة.

Abstract
    This research is concerned with the interpretation of the Holy Qur'an and its sciences as it studies the occurrences of the word "umm" in the Holy Qur'an showing its real meaning and its metaphorical significances. This topic is not known to be highlighted in any independent study before. Accordingly, the research at hand aims at providing the readers with multiple meanings and metaphorical significances of the word 'umm' as revealed in many verses of the Holy Qur'an. As a result, the reader would comprehend the richness of the language in which the Holy Qur'an is revealed. The research adopts the inductive approach for tracing the occurrences of the word 'umm' in the Holy Qur'an. In addition, the research applies the analytical approach for investigating the various significances of this word showing which of them is real such as Umm Mūsā (the mother of Moses, May Allah be pleased with him), Umm Īsā (the mother of Jesus); Mary the daughter of ʿImrān, Umm Maryam (the mother of Mary); the wife of ʿImrān, Umm al-Janīn (the mother of the baby), Umm al-Zawjah (the mother in law), Umm al-Mutawafa (the mother of the deceased), and Umm al-Fār Yawm al-Qiyāmah (the mother of the person who runs away on the Day of Judgment). Instances of the metaphorical significances of 'umm' in the Holy Qur'an are seen in places such as: Umm al-Qura (Mecca), Um al-Kitāb (the Qur'ānic verses of clear and precise meaning or the Preserved Tablet), al-Umm which signifies the shelter. The key findings of this research draw attention to the word 'umm' as revealed in the Holy Qur'an in twelve meanings with reference to the context of thirty- three occurrences. Moreover, utilizing this word independently as well as added to countless words would surely come out with numerous meanings.
