ملخص البحث:
البحث موضوعه: في دراسة وتحقيق مصنف في علم مقارنة الأديان، وهو: "خدمة المرتاب من أهل الکتاب"، لمؤلفه: علوي بن أحمد السقاف (ت:1335هـ). ومن أبرز أهدافه: تقديم دراسة علمية تعريفية بالمؤلف، وکتابه. تحقيق نص الکتاب تحقيقاُ علمياً رصيناً. العناية بالکتاب وخدمته وفق معايير المنهج العلمي. تقديم إضافة علمية لمکتبة علم الأديان المقارن. وجاءت خطته في مقدمة، وقسمين: الأول: الدراسة، في التعريف بالمؤلِف، والمؤلَف، وتقع في مبحثين، الثاني: التحقيق، في تحقيق نص الکتاب وضبطه، على ثلاث نسخ، ثم بخدمته وفق المنهج العلمي. وکان البحث وفق المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في الدراسة، والمنهج العلمي لإخراج النصوص في التحقيق، کل ذلک وفق المعايير العلمية المعتبرة، وقد خلُص إلى جملة من النتائج، أهمها: أن الکتاب في موضوعه ومضمونه ضمن دائرة مکتبة الديانات، والمتعلق منها بأهل الکتاب تحديداً. وأن الکتاب کتب رداً على رسالة في صحة الکتب المنزلة السابقة، وأنها غير محرفة، وأن القرآن الکريم مصدق بها، وغير ناسخ لها، وأنه يجب على اليهود والنصارى والمسلمين القبول والعمل بها. - استهل المؤلف رده ببيان حال صاحب الرسالة، کما ألمح إلى أن أمهات المسائل المتنازع فيها بين المسلمين والنصارى، ثم ببيان اعتقاد المسلمين في الإيمان بالکتب، والإيمان بالرسل. وعرج المؤلف على إثبات التحريف بأقسامه الذي تعرضت له الکتب السابقة. - اعتمد المؤلف على کتاب: "إظهار الحق"، وعلى غيره مما کتب في هذا المضمار نثراً ونظماً. - تطرق الکتاب إلى جملة من القضايا المهمة ذات العلاقة: کإثبات أن شريعة الإسلام ناسخة لجميع الشرائع، والحکمة من نسخ الشرائع، والبشارات، وفرق النصارى. - وأهم التوصيات: حث الباحثين على الاهتمام بالدراسات التي تعنى بجهود ومناهج علماء المسلمين المتأخرين في مجال الأديان، ومجادلة أهل الکتاب خاصة، مع مقارنة ذلک بالکتب المتقدمة في هذا الباب.

The topic of the research is: In the study and investigation of a work in the science of comparative religions, which is: "Service to the Suspicious of the People of the Book", by its author: Alawi bin Ahmed Al-Saqqaf (T: 1335 AH). Among the most prominent of its objectives: to provide an introductory scientific study to the author and his book. Achieving the text of the book is a sober scientific investigation. Care for the book and its service according to the standards of the scientific method. Providing a scientific addition to the Comparative Religion Science Library. His plan came in an introduction, and in two parts: the first: the study, in introducing the author and the author, and it falls into two topics, the second: the investigation, in investigating and controlling the text of the book, in three copies, then by serving him according to the scientific method. The research was in accordance with the descriptive and analytical approach in the study, and the scientific method for producing texts in the investigation, all according to the esteemed scientific standards, and it concluded with a number of results, the most important of which are: that the book in its subject matter and content within the Department of the Library of Religions, which is related to the People of the Book specifically. And that the book was written in response to a message about the authenticity of the previous revealed books, that they are not corrupted, that the Holy Qur’an is certified and not abrogated, and that Jews, Christians and Muslims must accept and act upon them. - The author began his response with a statement of the status of the author of the message, as he alluded to the mothers of the disputed issues between Muslims and Christians, and then with a statement of Muslims' belief in belief in books, and faith in the messengers. And the author lambled to prove the distortion of his sections, which were exposed to previous books. - The author relied on the book: “Manifesting the Truth,” and on other books in this regard, in prose and composition. - The book touched upon a number of important related issues: such as proof that the Sharia of Islam abrogates all laws, and the wisdom of copying laws, gospels, and the sects of Christians. The most important recommendations: Urging researchers to pay attention to studies that deal with the efforts and approaches of late Muslim scholars in the field of religions, and the debate of the People of the Book in particular, with a comparison with the books developed in this section.
