ملخص البحث:
يشهد التطور التکنولوجي في المعلومات والاتصالات أهمية في الحياة جعلت من التعامل الإلکتروني ضرورة في الحياة اليومية، وبالرغم من ذلک فقد کان لهذا التطور جوانب سلبية ربما تصل إلى ما يعرف في الواقع القانوني بالجريمة الإلکترونية، ومن هنا جاء هذا البحث عن العقوبات الشرعية للجرائم الإلکترونية.
لقد سعت الدراسة إلى الکشف عن مفهوم الجرائم الإلکترونية، وبيان ماهيتها في النظام السعودي وخطورتها في تشريعاته، کذلک اعتنى البحث بدراسة المبادئ الکلية التي يقوم عليها التجريم، ومن ذلک مبدأ شرعية الجرائم والعقوبات في الفقه الإسلامي.
کما ساهم في توضيح الجزاءات المقررة في الشريعة الإسلامية للجرائم والمخالفات التي ترتکب من خلال تقنيات وسائل الاتصالات والمعلومات.
 
Legitimate Punishments for Electronic crimes

Abstract
Technological advancement in the field of information and telecommunications gains importance these days, something that turns electronic interaction into a necessity in our daily life. However, there are some negative aspects of this development. Such aspects could be identified as electronic crimes in the legal field. Therefore, the research at hand studies the legitimate punishments for electronic crimes. The research is keen on exploring the concept of electronic crimes, its significance for the Saudi discipline and its serious impact on the legislations. Hence, the research highlights the basic principles upon which forbiddance relies. One of those principles is the legitimacy of crimes and punishments in the Islamic jurisprudence. The research has contributed to clarifying the prescribed punishments for the crimes and offences committed by means of information, technological and telecommunication devices- as seen in the Islamic Sharia.
