الملخــص:
يتناول البحث دراسة عن الحافظ أحمد بن سيار المروزي رحمه الله، من حيث ذکر سيرته وعصره وشيوخه وتلاميذه ومکانته بين العلماء، و جهوده وآثاره الحديثية، وبيان منهجه في الجرح والتعديل ونقد الرواة، حيث إنني  لم أجد دراسة مستقلة خاصة بسيرة هذا العالم الجليل ،وبيان جهوده العلمية لاسيما ما يخص علم الحديث، ويهدف البحث إلى استنباط منهج الحافظ أحمد بن سيار المروزي في الجرح والتعديل ونقد الرواة والمرويات ،وکان منهجي في البحث هو: المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي ، من خلال جمع أقوال الحافظ أحمد بن سيار المروزي في الرواة الذين تکلم عليهم بجرح أو تعديل ثم استنباط سمات منهجه في ذلک، ثم ختمت البحث بذکر أبرز النتائج العلمية والعملية من هذا البحث.

Abstract:
This research handles Al- Hafez Ahmed Bin Sayyar Al- Marouzi (May Allah have Mercy on him) by highlighting his biography, his time, his mentor Sheikhs, his fellow students, his position among scholars, his efforts and modern influences, and his approach of discrediting, endorsement and criticizing narrators. The researcher could hardly find a single biographical study of this great scholar dedicated to trace his scientific efforts especially those related to the science of Hadith. The research aims at exploring Al-Hafez Ahmed Bin Sayyar Al-Marouzi's approach of discreditation, endorsement and criticizing narrators and narrations. The research at hand applies the analytical and inductive approach through collecting statements told by Al-Hafez Ahmed Bin Sayyar Al- Marouzi with relevance to the narrators handled in his process of discreditation and endorsement. Next, the research underlines the outstanding characteristics of Al- Marouzi's approach.  Finally, the research concludes with the most important scientific and practical findings, as well as the recommendations of this study.
