ملخص البحث:
البيئة هي الإطار الذي يعيش فيه الإنسان، ويحصل منه على مقومات حياته، من غذاء، وکساء، ودواء، ومأوى، ويمارس فيه علاقاته مع أقرانه من بني البشر، وللبيئة العديد من المقومات، والإنسان هو الکائن الوحيد القادر على تعمير هذه البيئة، لذلک عنيت الفلسفة بالبيئة ومشکلاتها قديماً وحديثاً، ومن ثم أخذ الفلاسفة والمفکرون يفکرون جلياً في حل لهذه المعضلة الکبيرة، وأخذوا يدعون إلى إقامة التوازن بين مطالب الإنسان في السيطرة على البيئة، والإفادة من مواردها، وأخلاقيات البيئة قيمة لا غنى عنها؛ إذ يتعامل بها الأفراد والمجتمعات مع مواردهم الطبيعية، وکيفية استغلالها الاستغلال الأمثل، و کان للفلاسفة والمفکرين على مر التاريخ وقفات مهمة وواضحة في سلامة البيئة، والمحافظة عليها، ووضع الأطر والآليات الطبيعية والوقائية للحد من مشکلاتها، ولا شک أن التراث الفلسفي يزخر بالعديد من الإسهامات المتعددة في أخلاقيات البيئة، والتي أسهمت بشکل کبير في حماية البيئة؛ وفي ذات الوقت لديها قدرة على تقديم الحلول المهمة لخدمة البيئة، والحد من مشاکلها، ولقد أرست الحضارات البشرية القديمة في الصين والهند ومصر والعراق، العديد من القواعد والرؤى في المجال البيئي، وبخاصة في ترشيد استغلال الموارد الطبيعية. 
Environmental Ethics in the Philosophical Thinking

Abstract:
The environment is the sphere within which a human being lives and from which he gets the essential need for his life; food, clothing, medicine, shelter. There, he can establish his relations with other peers. Although the environment has various basic constituents, the human being is the only creature who can construct this environment. Therefore, philosophy has cared for the environment and its issues both in ancient and modern times. Hence, the intellectuals and philosophers thought deeply of finding a solution for such a great dilemma. They called for holding a balance between the claims to control the environment, making use of its supplies and the indispensable environmental ethics since the individuals and their communities resort to these ethics while dealing with their natural resources and how to exploit them properly. Along history, philosophers and intellectuals held clear and crucial attitudes seeking ecological integrity, conservation as well as designing the frameworks; natural and preventative mechanisms to reduce the amount of its resultant issues. Undoubtedly, the philosophical heritage abounds in numerous and multiple contributions to the field of environmental ethics which contributed largely to conserve the environment. At the same time, they had the potential to introduce sensible solutions to serve the environment and reduce the number of issues that may arise later. The ancient human civilizations of China, India, Egypt and Iraq had established a variety of rules and viewpoints concerning the environmental field; especially reducing consumption of natural resources.
