ملخص البحث
إن مکانة الصحابة رضوان الله عليهم ومنزلتهم عظيمة عند الله ¸ وعند رسوله والمؤمنين.
وقد وصفهم الله ¸ في القرآن الکريم بصفات جميلة فمرة جاء وصفهم بالصابرين، ومرة بالمحسنين، ومرة بالمتقين وغير ذلک من الأوصاف.
وجاءت السنة المطهرة لتؤکد على عظم هذه المکانة والمنزلة العظيمة، بل قد دوَّن أهل العلم وأصحاب المؤلفات الحديثية أبواباً وفصولاً تتعلق بمکانتهم وفضائلهم، بل ومؤلفات خاصة بالصحابة فقط لذا وجب علينا الدفاع عنهم وفداءهم بالنفس والمال فيما ينسب ويدس عليهم من هجمات شرسة تنتقص من هذه المکانة وتلک المنزلة العظيمة. فهم حملة السنة وناقليها عن رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم رضى الله عنهم وأرضاهم.

Abstract
 
      The status of Prophet Muhammad's companions is so great before Allah and His prophet as well as the believers. In the Holy Qur'an, they were described in good attributes; once they were recognized as patients, once again as philanthropists and as pious …etc. The purified Sunnah emphasized the great status of those men. In addition, the academicians and modern authors have produced a huge number of books and assigned large chapters to narrate their values and virtues. They even dedicated whole books solely to the companions of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. Therefore, it has become dutiful to defend them to the extent of sacrificing our wealth and lives for their sake and for anything speaking evil of them through the violent attacks that meant to underestimate their great status. Those men are identified as bearers and transferrers of the Sunnah after Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and may Allah be pleased with them all.
