الملخــــص:
 يهدف هذا البحث إلى بيان موقف الإمام عبد الحليم محمود من علم الكلام، وقد اعتمدت فيه على المنهج التحليلي الاستنباطي، حيث قمت بعرض كلامه وتحليله، ثم استخرجت من هذا العرض والتحليل موقفه من علم الكلام، وقد اشتمل على تمهيد، وأربعة مطالب، أما التمهيد: فتحدثت فيه عن ترجمة الإمام عبد الحليم محمود، وأما المطلب الأول: تحدثت فيه عن علم الكلام بين القبول والرفض، والمطلب الثاني: ذكرت فيه موقف الإمام عبد الحليم محمود من علم الكلام، والمطلب الثالث: تحدثت فيه عن أهم المسائل الكلامية التي تناولها الإمام عبد الحليم محمود، والمطلب الرابع: ما ينبغي أن يكون عليه علم الكلام عند الإمام عبد الحليم محمود، وقد توصلت من خلال هذه الدراسة إلى أن موقف الإمام عبد الحليم محمود من علم الكلام هو موقف وسط، يتلخص في موقفين: الأول: يتبنى من خلاله ذم المشتغلين بعلم الكلام، واعتباره بدعة، معضدًا ذلك بنقولات متعددة من أئمة السلف، وهذا بالنسبة لعلم الكلام القائم على الجدل العقيم،والموقف الثاني: يتلخص في أمرين: الأول: يسلك من خلاله مسلك علماء الكلام في أثناء عرضه لبعض مسائل العقيدة، والأمر الثاني: هو ما ينبغي أن يكون عليه علم الكلام، وذلك بأن يدور في موضوعاته حول إثبات النبوة، والدعوة إلى الله - تعالى-.

Abstract
 This Research aims at demonstrating the attitude of Imam Abdel- Halim Mahmoud towards theology. The research applies the analytical inductive approach as the researcher displays and analyzes the speech of the Imam then he figures out his attitude towards theology. The research includes a preamble and four research requests. The preamble highlights the biography of Imam Abdel- Halim Mahmoud. The first research request discusses theology in between acceptance and rejection. The second research request traces the attitude of Imam Abdel- Halim Mahmoud towards theology whereas the third request handles the most important theological issues tackled by Imam Abdel- Halim Mahmoud. The last research request demonstrates the idea of how theology should be like according to Imam Abdel- Halim Mahmoud. The research has found out that the attitude of Imam Abdel- Halim Mahmoud towards theology is moderate and it can be summed up in two standing points: in the first، Imam Abdel- Halim Mahmoud condemns those who are preoccupied with theology considering it a kind of unfavored innovation supported by numerous quotations taken from the heritage of the Imams of Salf (those who followed and copied prophet Muhammad peace be upon him) and this is only applicable to theology based on unproductive dialectics. The second standing point includes two matters: in the first، Imam Abdel- Halim Mahmoud imitated theologians while introducing some issues related to the Muslim creed whereas the second is dedicated to how theology should be like as its topics should revolve around proving prophethood and calling for Allah.
